Coming Next Year: BOSC Church Planting Conference!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

For some time now, I’ve wanted to put together a conference specifically aimed at planting and building Old School Presbyterian Churches and it looks like we will finally be able to host such a conference some time next year. The details are slowly coming together and we currently have three speakers lined up (we’ll probably have four speakers total). The conference will be three days long and will cover aspects of the history, theology, and practice of building an Old School Congregation.

More details will follow, including the date, the speakers, and the location.

Please feel free to comment if you have questions or if you would be interested in attending.

About Andrew Webb

I was converted out of paganism and the occult in 1993 and while I was initially Charismatic/Arminian in my theology, I became Reformed and Presbyterian through bible study and the influence of ministries like RC Sproul's. After teaching in local bible studies, and taking seminary courses part time, I began to feel called to the ministry in 1997. I was Ordained as an RE at Christ Covenant PCA in Hatboro, PA in 2000 and as a TE by Central Carolina Presbytery in 2001 when I was called to be the Organizing Pastor/Church Planter for Providence PCA Mission, Cross Creek PCA's church plant in Fayetteville, NC (home to Ft. Bragg and Pope Airforce Base). In 2005 when the Providence PCA Particularized I was blessed to be called by the congregation to be their Pastor

  1. Reformatus says:

Having such a conference sounds like a good enterprise. Keep us informed!

  2. Sounds good! I hope you will include the context of missions in the conference, how to plant Old School Presbyterian churches in the context of missions. That’s where I am at and not many people put much thought into it, it seems.

  3. Do you have any more details yet? Did I miss it? Was the conference recorded?
